
Shipping Policy
Processing time
When you place an order, we process it in the order in which it is received. We aim to ship within 1-7 business days (excluding holidays and holidays), but may add up to 4 business days during peak shopping and festivals. Once shipped, you will receive an email from UnionMaterial informing you that your order has been shipped.
UnionMaterial’s weekdays are in Taipei Standard Time (Greenwich Mean Time +8, GMT+8)

- Saturday: Closed days
- Sunday: Closed day
If there are special long holidays, we will announce them separately on the blog, such as Chinese New Year and epidemic prevention leave.
When out of stock
If your order is out of stock or out of stock at all, a customer service representative will contact you via email and issue an immediate full refund.
Delivery time of the goods
Transit time is calculated from the time the item is packaged and sent (recipient pickup), not when the order is placed.
The delivery time is generally 3~7 days, which depends entirely on the logistics company, but due to the epidemic in recent years, it may still take more than 7 days.
Shipping method:
The main delivery is convenience store pickup, and we use home delivery as a black cat. If there are special circumstances and you need to use other methods for delivery, we will take the initiative to contact you or send you an EMAIL to let you know.
Handling the wrong shipping address
The package will be delivered to the address you provided at checkout, please make sure your full name and delivery address are complete to avoid the carrier returning the package to us due to incorrect delivery information or delivery failure.
UnionMaterial will charge the customer for all shipping costs associated with the wrong address provided.
If a customer service representative is unable to contact you for any reason, such as by email or phone, we will issue a refund. Once we have received and inspected the returned package, we will process your refund or resend it. A re-shipping fee equal to the original shipping fee will be charged.
When additional costs are incurred – international overseas
All import duties, taxes and fees are not included in the product price or shipping costs, and you are responsible for any import, excise or customs duties you are paying if UnionMaterial ships the goods to other countries.
UnionMaterial is not responsible and will not refund any international shipments lost or collected by customs. So we recommend that international buyers confirm your country’s customs to determine the amount of these additional fees before purchasing.
You may also need to check the laws of the region and country where you are shipping to ensure that you understand the laws and regulations of the local order to ensure that you receive the products.
When international shipping is not possible
If the product is not allowed for international shipping, we will cancel the entire order without prior notice.
About Kanji and Japanese – International Overseas
When entering the contact person’s name during the shopping stage, try not to write in kanji or Japanese as it cannot be recognized by international logistics companies. Therefore, if the name is still in Chinese characters or Japanese at the time of order establishment, in order to save time, UnionMaterial will not verify and translate it into English without your confirmation or consent, and send the package in English name, for example:
- Wu Zongbo, we will translate it as Wu Zongbo.
- Shohei Ohtani, we will translate as Shohei Otani.
- Amuro Namie is translated as Amuro Namie.
If the goods are rejected due to differences between the English name and the buyer’s perception, the goods are not accepted because they are not recognized, or they are unclaimed, we will treat them as incorrect shipping addresses.
If the address is in kanji or Japanese, the same applies as above.
About insurance
We do not take out any insurance for all mailed orders (both local and overseas). The customer is responsible for the loss of mail delivery.
