Return and refund policy

Product appreciation period

The return and refund policy, in accordance with consumer protection law, has a 7-day appreciation period (including holidays) from the time the item arrives in your hands.

Remind you! Appreciation does not mean trial or play. If the product or packaging is damaged due to the necessity of inspection or other reasons attributable to the buyer, it will affect your right to return the product.

If the product exceeds the seven-day appreciation period, or exceeds the necessary inspection such as unpacking and trial play, damage to the product packaging, etc., resulting in lack of integrity and loss of resale value, returns and refunds will not be accepted. If you insist on returning the product, you will be charged a new fee according to the loss of the product.

What is the reason why I can’t process a return?

  1. More than seven days appreciation period. (Appreciation period is not probationary period).
  2. The product has been unpacked for trial.
  3. The product itself must not be dirty or damaged, and if the product is dirty, artificially damaged, etc., it cannot be returned.
  4. The outer packaging carton is damaged and dirty, including but not limited to slight creases, slight stains, ballpoint pen handwriting, marks, etc.
  5. The returned product is not properly packaged and the product carton is damaged, incomplete, or has short contents.
  6. Malicious or bulk returns
  7. If you apply for a return or refund due to personal reasons, you will not be able to request a return or refund if you order the same product again next time.

What are the flaws?

In the following cases, you can choose to return or apply for replenishment, and the company will handle it as a new product replacement.

  • Damage to goods during transportation.
  • The received product does not match the contents of the order, such as the wrong color, wrong specification.
  • Damage caused by poor product quality or other non-consumer error.

Request a return

The company does not provide product exchanges, different combinations/colors are considered different products, so if you want to exchange for other combinations/colors, please return the original product first and then reorder.

Please fill out the contact form on UM Online within 7 days of receiving the product, and also provide:

  • Order number
  • name
  • E-Mail
  • Name of the returned item
  • Reason for return

UM customer service staff will assist you in returning the above data after receiving it.

After receiving the contact form, we will handle the case on a case-by-case basis, and we cannot accept returns from other channels such as Facebook, thank you for your cooperation.

Therefore, the return process is as follows:

  1. Fill out the online contact form (you)
  2. Customer service may contact you further to confirm the cause of the issue. (Both sides)
  3. After analyzing the problem, confirm that the product can be returned (us)
  4. Send the item back (you) fully packaged
  5. Received the item in perfect condition (us)
  6. The return was successful
  7. refund

If the return or non-pickup of the product due to personal reasons accumulates 2 times, the company will reserve the right to accept the order, please forgive the inconvenience!

Request restocking

If a defect or other condition attributable to UM’s negligence is found during the 7-day product inspection period.

For example, the product received does not match the ordered content, the wrong color and specification, or the product itself is defective.

After receiving the above information, the customer service staff will assist you in replacing defective products, shortage or defective parts, and we will send the parts to replace them.

Do I have to pay for shipping for returns?

The appreciation period within 7 days of receiving the product, the return needs to bear the shipping fee, please think carefully before placing an order.

When is the refund time after return?

After we receive the returned product, we will first confirm whether the product is correct and complete, and then enter the relevant refund process, and the refund operation time is about 2~5 working days.

Notification of successful refund

We will notify you via email once we receive the return package and the refund is complete.

Error on return (abnormal)

Please keep your mailing receipt and tracking number in case the package is lost. For peace of mind, you may be able to send the package using a delivery service that ensures the value of the shipment.

Remember, it’s your responsibility before the returned item arrives at our doorstep, so make sure it’s properly packaged and not damaged on the way. In addition, we are not responsible for any items returned to us by mistake and do not agree to refunds.
