Union Material Co., Ltd. (UM) was founded in 1987 and first settled in Hsinchu City. Then, in 2001, it moved to its own factory in Zhunan, Miaoli.
We have been focusing on the design and manufacturing of polymer composite components for more than 30 years. Our initial business projects include manufacturing various high temperature resistant, low temperature resistant, wear resistant, conductive, antistatic, acid and alkali resistant reinforced engineering plastic particles. We then apply them to the manufacture of professional spare parts in the field of motorcycle transmission systems.
We uphold the core values of “Integrity First, Technological Innovation, Safety Priority, and Sustainable Operation” and provide comprehensive services from initial development to solutions based on 100% Taiwan manufacturing to help corporate customers achieve their goals and realize sustainable operations.
In 1993, the company developed into designing and manufacturing composite parts for various machinery and sports equipment for customers.
Since 1995, we have been focusing on the design and manufacturing of oil-free, low-noise, self-lubricating, wear-resistant plastic composite material related components.
In 2011, we passed the ISO:9001 quality management system certification.

Main Products
UnionMaterial Co., Ltd.’s main products are divided into two categories, each developing in different fields.
The first category, self-lubricating components, or self-lubricating bearings, are suitable for a variety of fields, whether in industry, sports equipment, daily life, etc. They exist and play a significant role. UM is known for its excellent technology, excellent quality and humanized design, and implements strict quality management concepts during the development process.
Second, motorcycle parts, mainly producing transmission parts, the most familiar brand is Dr. Pulley. With a full understanding of materials and technology, it has made a name for itself in the field of motorcycle modification parts.
Self-lubricating components
- Bicycles, electric bicycles: self-lubricating wear-resistant bushings for suspension frames, front forks, rear shock absorbers, seat tubes, and pedals.
- Pneumatic and air-driven tools: oil-free, wear-resistant piston rings, guide rings, and cylinder blocks.
- Computer peripheral equipment: low noise self-lubricating bushings for scanners, printers, etc.
- General industrial applications: textile machine yarn can shafts, fitness equipment shafts, disc brake caliper sliding shafts, automobile throttle valve shafts.<<See the application example for details.>>
